It seemed to have caused quite the commotion amongst us \u201centhusiasts\u201d. Just before I do get into these posts I want to address the fact it\u2019s perfectly alright to have an opinion &amp; constructively provide your feedback in a respectful manner but please don\u2019t be rude to the staff who spent their hours creating this project. There\u2019s no denying how iconic that was for so many of us especially those who grew up visiting the park. I guess it\u2019s that feeling of loss from your childhood. But with any business times move on &amp; having a refresh is exactly what is needed too. I do prefer the older logo to the new but that\u2019s mainly down to the attention to detail of the retired. But when speaking of this I can\u2019t help but feel it\u2019s still so fresh &amp; modern that it\u2019ll be a grower ultimately. However, I\u2019m not sitting here saying it\u2019s dreadful by any means because it\u2019s not it\u2019s just something fresh that\u2019ll take time to adapt to. The consistent investment we have seen from a guest&#8217;s perspective has been substantial and the park itself does feel a lot different. It feels almost alive again after all these years of persisting stagnant. I have seen a lot of concern in regards to them taking that same path which Lightwater Valley did with their target audience. But it\u2019s nice to see Drayton Manor has nipped that in the bud with their blog posts communicating the alterations &amp; their future target audience of \u201cfamily thrill\u201d. Of course, I do not anticipate we\u2019ll see anything like either of them in the coming years but it\u2019s just to share an idea of that typical kind of market. Again who knows what\u2019s actually in the pipeline I\u2019m speculating those big projects are off the cards yet really who knows? The transformations in their branding are an apparent indication of the future that we are enthusiasts wished for, for years &amp; that\u2019s an investment. Drayton Manor hasn\u2019t felt this alive in so long in all honesty &amp; it does fill my heart with such joy to see it continuing to get bigger &amp; move forward with the times. I struggle to take any negative from this alternation. What would we rather see the park head down a slippery slope of 0 investment or have some changes which of course won\u2019t please everyone &amp; only head upwards? I\u2019m thankful the park is safe &amp; has their future secured going forward.
