It\u2019s an attraction that has been on the bucket list for us for so many years. So, it was an absolute pleasure to finally visit for ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arrival & The Building Itself:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Arriving at the entrance & getting inside was a lot simpler than I had visualized it to be. Simple security checks up then up the stairs and into the lifts. I had an impression the building was going to be large but I did misjudge the substantial size. It\u2019s a well-presented entrance and it does feel exceptionally grand.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sets & Theming:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Each of the wax figures has its own little sets & theming typically. I think it\u2019s all well-themed but not as large as I had imagined it to be in regards to each theming scene for those figures. Of course, that wasn\u2019t the case for all of them. There were some scenes which were so incredibly detailed in regards to the theming & almost story-telling of the characters within it was mind blowing. For the general aspect of theming I\u2019d say it\u2019s relatively on par with Blackpool but studying those more thorough areas this one clearly wins. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wax Figures:<\/span><\/h2>\n

The substantial majority looked far too realistic it was pretty daunting. But in general, they all looked great nonetheless. There wasn\u2019t one that I thought could have been all that much better in all honesty. I tend to find life-like wax models rather creepy, Does anybody else relate?\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Music Room:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, during our visit, the music room was closed for what I assume was maintenance work. I was pretty disappointed by this as for me one of my favourite rooms is often the music room, it\u2019s pretty much where I\u2019ll know everyone & have an apparent knowledge of their surroundings too. It did also feel as if a substantial percentage of our trip was missing too. It\u2019s something I\u2019ll be enthusiastic to see in the nearby future.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Spirit Of London:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Genuinely, this was the thing I was most excited about in all honesty. It certainly did not disappoint. The animatronics looked outstanding and even the stationary ones looked tremendous. Each of the scenes was well illustrated & obtained with special effects. The taxi carriages were fab & I always adore themed carriages, they just fulfil the ride in my opinion. The way they move you to be submerged in the scenes was remarkable too. I think the detailed smell pods made each scene feel more real almost. Its duration was pretty generous. For me, it was the highlight of the visit & the final scene was my favourite too.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Marvel 4D Experience:<\/span><\/h2>\n

I ain\u2019t usually one to thoroughly enjoy 4D experiences as the anticipation of the seats tipping backwards just makes me a bag of nerves more than anything else. However, this was one of the best 4D experiences I have ever done before. The theatre room was luxurious the roof is domed with a screen as well. There are so many seats inside you have a real pick of places to sit, I\u2019d recommend the middle to have the extensive experience. As for the actual video, honestly, it was one enormous nerdfest is the only way I can describe it. Just one marvel character after another and it\u2019s hard to not lose your shit over as there\u2019s something so fun about seeing all these familiar characters altogether alongside Stanley Lee making his appearance too. It was brilliant & is well-worth the up-charge for non-platinum Merlin Annual Passholders.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h2>\n

There are so many characteristics of this Madame Tussaud\u2019s I adored like the ride & 4D. But as a whole, it felt a lot shorter than I had expected it to be, the few room closures wouldn’t have helped bear in mind. So, I can comprehend on our next visit more than likely my opinion will probably alter. I\u2019m somewhat unsure in regards to which I prefer between the two; Blackpool & London. But I adore those further perks of London such as the ride & 4D cinema, both of which were highlights for me. However, that all being said this was a lot of fun to finally visit and we had a fab time.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
