It would of gone up a tad but I’m sure we lost one cycle and it used to go around twice, am I correct? Tyrolean Tub Twist – Joyland: Spinning things aren’t something I particularly enjoy anymore, unfortunately. But I truly comprehend the importance of this rollercoaster type and how valuable it is to come by today. It’s fun but not something I’m excited to try and ride again anytime soon. Rollercoaster – Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach: A coaster that is very dependent on the brakeman. If you get one that’s a bit edgy your going to have the best ride possible but if you get someone a tad cautious it becomes rather boring fast. The layout is gorgeous and fun to experience. It has sleek edges regardless which is always nice. Nickelodeon Streak – Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Pops of airtime over every bunny hill and it gives me life. I adore this rollercoaster for how smooth it can feel and if your sat on the back row everything feels more ejector than elsewhere. It’s a great coaster and definitely on that fine line between family & thrill in my opinion. Megafobia – Oakwood: A disappointing experience for us, unfortunately. But the layout is marvellous. It has so much capability to be something certainly outstanding with the first drop alone. If we rode this the year before lockdown etc I genuinely imagine it could be sat at my number one spot in this list. Grand National – Blackpool Pleasure Beach: What’s better than a competitive racing rollercoaster? I love the entertainment that can be had whilst riding and racing one another. It adds that extra sense of exhilaration to the ride especially if you sat on the wheel seat and getting bruised by the thing haha. Scenic Railway – Dreamland Margate: We only managed to ride this once and it was during dark & I never had felt quite like it before in my life. It was breathtaking, steady and lengthy too. It meanders around its track and offers little seconds of airtime as well as truly stunning perspectives of the surrounding park. It’s one of which Hope opens again in the future for even further riding to be had. Big Dipper – Blackpool Pleasure Beach: The recent track improvements have made this coaster in my opinion. I have always been a big fan of Big Dipper but those adaptations have made me fall in love. It is riding the best it has done in years or as long as I can remember. I’ve been riding this coaster for over 10 years and never knew I could love it anymore than I do. It’s brilliant. Wickerman – Alton Towers: The theming game is powerful for this coaster. Don’t get me wrong I love the entire layout and the airtime hills and the way it whips around its corners passing through Big Bob himself. But it does come with a full package as well, especially when riding in the dark. There isn’t a single thing I would differ about this coaster as it is the best wooden rollercoaster in the UK by far. ——- Have you completed this challenge yet? If so, how do you rank them? I’d love to hear!
