Before anyone gets too triggered please hear me out. Firstly, this whole blog post is just an opportunity for me to air my feelings towards the ride and clarify why I do like it but also really dislike it too. I do appreciate the love a lot have surrounding this ride and no doubt this will be irritating to many. But without further rambling from me, let\u2019s crack on!<\/span><\/p>\n

What I Dislike?<\/span><\/h2>\n

If I was back in my teens I know for fact there wouldn\u2019t be a single thing I\u2019d dislike about this ride. However, with age, my stomach has become more prone to feeling sick with distinct rides & this is one of them. I find the ride itself knocks my stomach so much & oddly enough it\u2019s the only Madhouse to do that to me. The swing itself is far too fierce with such little movements happening that it\u2019s far from desirable for me.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The next thing I don\u2019t particularly enjoy is how loud some of the rooms can be. There\u2019s been immersive then there\u2019s unnecessarily loud to the point it is a struggle to focus. I often find myself stood hoping for it to be over then getting into the story. I struggle with my hearing at the best of times & this ride does not help at all. Other than the two things the last one for me is an effort to re-ride. I understand the story but I find it difficult to enjoy it if I ride it more frequently than I do at the minute. <\/span><\/p>\n

What I Actually Enjoy?<\/span><\/h2>\n

I truly love the natural vibe of its setting and it just feels so remarkable at all times. The backstory is different as well it\u2019s not your stereotypical ghost story. The middle room before the ride itself is my favourite out of the lot. I feel on edge in this room. I have always found this room to offer such an uneasy atmosphere that it could well be intensified for Scarefest and get away with it being fab. There\u2019s permanently that odd chill in the air & tensing of the shoulders in the area.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h2>\n

As much as I truly cherish the unique setting & story. It\u2019s one of those rides I don\u2019t feel the need to ride every year in all honesty. Of course, I love defined characteristics but as a whole, it\u2019s not my kind of ride, unfortunately. Every time I do ride it I always hope to have the same amount of love as the vast majority do, but regardless of how much I have tried, it just will not happen. But I am not sat writing this to declare it\u2019s anything other than okay because I can see why so many idolize it.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
