As someone who quite likes to know how many rollercoasters I have ridden but never knew where to begin in the first place, I thought this would be a fab blog post to share with you all. Therefore, let’s crack on and have a chat!<\/p>\n

Firstly, I want to say that to be an enthusiast does not mean you need to count your coasters. The number doesn’t make you any less of an enthusiast than the next person. For me, it’s just a little bit of fun to be had whilst visiting these parks and I rarely talk on my count as it is not that important to me, but is nice to see when and if I hit milestones. So, please don’t feel you have to follow any strict guidelines on how to be an enthusiast because there is no hidden rule book it’s down to the joy and happiness theme parks bring to you is all that matters. Now I have got that off my chest, I think it’s time to have a chin wag about how I have counted my coasters in the past and current.<\/p>\n

Coast2Coaster:<\/h2>\n

If you aren’t using the app below or looking to add to your coaster count my ultimate go-to site is Coast2Coaster, it will be linked if you wish to check it out. It has several coasters that are available to ride dotted across a map. It makes it even easier to plan those road trips to up your count and gain a few cheeky +1’s.\"\"<\/p>\n

RCDB:<\/h2>\n

Again super easy to use and discover all the rollercoasters that you have perhaps rode. It’s fab for those who tend to do it the old fashion way of counting rather than using the apps available now. \"\"<\/p>\n

Coaster Count App:<\/h2>\n

The easiest way around counting your number of coasters or creds if you are one of those people who call it that, is by using the app Coaster Count. It has I believe every single rollercoaster in the world that has existed and is currently operating so it’s super simple to browse through and add those you have ridden already. I believe it cost \u00a32 but I am not entirely sure about that as I have used the app for a while now. \"\"<\/p>\n

Excel Spreadsheet:<\/h2>\n

Easy to count the number of coasters you have ridden thanks to the handy sidebar with numbers. Excel is pretty simple to use as well and it’s also quite fun sitting and putting every single coaster into the list and watching those digits increase. It’s also great if you wanted to colour code the list for whatever reason.\"\"<\/p>\n

Pen & Paper:<\/h2>\n

Ah, how it began for me. During the closed season, a few years the curiosity overtook me and I couldn’t help but sit and write down all the coasters, it did take me two days though. So, if you aren’t someone with some free time then I’d recommend one of the above really. \"\"<\/p>\n
