3 whole years of chatting about the things I love, struggle with & generally rambling haha. It\u2019s mad how time can fly by when you enjoy something so much. I thought I\u2019d share something slightly different to my usual today with some of the things I have learnt from this hobby. I\u2019d like to think this could encourage others to blog too but if not and you are here for something to read that\u2019s cool too. I hope you all enjoy it & before I get into it I can\u2019t thank you all enough for giving me the time of day, it means so much!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

More About Me:<\/h2>\n

I have found blogging an entire experience of learning more about myself. It turns out I didn\u2019t really know who I was or much about myself before this. Since blogging I have discovered strengths I never knew existed, a drive & fire in my belly I didn\u2019t think I was capable of.\u00a0I feel it’s helped me grow as a person and see everything from various points of view!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Accepting My Own Opinions Are Valid:<\/h2>\n

I can\u2019t begin to express the importance of this within my journey as a blogger. At the very start, I was easily swayed into believing my opinion weren\u2019t valid nor correct (opinions are correct to you). I used to see comments where someone would be angry over the fact I dislike their favourite rollercoaster which is okay but the way it was worded was often in a manner of your opinion is corrupted and incorrect. So I used to fear and think I had to delete the said post to please other people. Since what maybe a year ago I\u2019ve learnt to deal with this kinda thing in a much better way & that\u2019s just being true to myself & standing by whatever opinion I put out there & not backing down to suit what others want me to believe. But also understanding that you guys may disagree with those opinions and that’s also okay.\"\"<\/p>\n

Giving Escapism:<\/h2>\n

Before this pandemic happened I didn\u2019t really think of my site as somewhere for people to escape to. It was just my site that appealed to some and didn\u2019t appeal to others, still the case now. But in the last year, I have learnt that offering you guys somewhere to escape to for 2 minutes whilst reading is my way of offering you something I often need the most & that\u2019s escapism.\"\"<\/p>\n

Writing Is Therapeutic:<\/h2>\n

Without blogging I fear my mental health could be in a far worst position than it is. It\u2019s my place to escape for 5 minutes. I tend to have 200+ draft blog post from the late anxiety-filled nights as it\u2019s just my way of relieving some of the struggles whilst also relaxing into sleep. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlocking Memories:<\/h2>\n

Writing has always been a part of my life in some shape or form. But I\u2019ve found over the past 3 years that it has unlocked so many happy memories for me when talking about the topics I do! But also it\u2019s a lovely way to store memories that I\u2019ll read back over one day and feel as if I\u2019m living in that moment again. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Always Be Grateful:<\/h2>\n

I have always lived by the way of never taking anything for granted and enjoying every last moment because these opportunities don’t always come along. But I have been incredibly lucky to experience half the things I have whilst blogging and I will always be so grateful for people giving me the time of day and believing in me!\"\"<\/p>\n

Well, this is one of the most fulfilling posts I have written. I am so thankful to every single person who has read one blog post, regularly read my post, to the parks that have given me opportunities, to all the friends I have made along the way including those I ain’t close to anymore. I am thankful for you all and you are all beautiful people that I am incredibly lucky to interact with! Thank you so so much.<\/strong><\/p>\n
