<\/p>\nWickerman is a coaster which I love dearly. It\u2019s a lot of fun for so many reasons & in countless ways. Yet it still has those final cherries to pop on top in my opinion. So here are 3 things I wish were different or added.<\/p>\n
You have the whole package from the moment you enter the plaza. There\u2019s audio, theming, various smells, smoke, fire, you name it, it has it. Yet you\u2019ve just ended this experience by hitting the outdoor brakes. You\u2019ve headed round the corner to the indoor section to be greeted with darkness, coloured smoke effects, tense audio & that\u2019s that. Yet nothing truly happens. I truly wish they would add or had added something into this section. As sometimes depending on the number of trains on the track you can be sat within the brake section from anywhere between 50 odd seconds to a few minutes. I feel a simple touch such as projection mapping could of easily completed it. It never has to be too much or too over the top . A simple projection mapped face of a beon talking as you head into the station with filler lines if your sat on the brake run for a while that would of been enough.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not sure whether it\u2019s just me but whenever you hit the brakes, you can almost feel there\u2019s so much more to give. I understand there could be a 101 reasons as to why it\u2019s not that few seconds longer. More Night Time Riding Opportunities:<\/p>\n
A lot of the effects are fab during the day but you can tell they are best suited for night time. Therefore I wish there was a few more opportunities outside of October & November where you can experience it all to the full potential, admittedly there was Oktoberfest in 2020 which was fab. Again I fully respect the restrictions they are under unfortunately. But it just feels like such a shame to the fact people can\u2019t experience this for all it has to offer.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.coastersonthecoast.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image1.jpeg?resize=300%2C200&ssl=1\")
