I\u2019ll be honest this kind of genre (romance) never usually gets me interested not has me hooked. I\u2019m usually about the suspense, police procedural & crime kind of books. Yet I heard so many good things about Gio and her books I couldn\u2019t resist at least giving them a shot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sophie May is content with her life in her small English village, working in the local coffee shop and living with her mom. But when famous actor Billy comes to town to play Mr. Darcy in a new film adaptation of<\/span> Pride and Prejudice<\/span>, Sophie’s quiet life is quickly turned on its head. Billy is adored by women around the world, but he only wants Sophie on his arm. But being with Billy comes at a price, and Sophie is thrown in the spotlight after years of shying away from attention. Can she handle the constant scrutiny that comes with being with Billy?<\/span><\/p>\n

My Opinions:<\/span><\/h2>\n

From the moment I clicked on this book and started to read I was instantly sucked in. There\u2019s such an ore around the way it\u2019s written in my opinion. Your instantly introduced to the main character herself Sophie, who works in a cafe (which sounds like ultimate cafe goals). Within the first 4 chapters, you follow her alongside getting to know this famous a-list celebrity who\u2019s filming in her little village. <\/span><\/p>\n

The way it\u2019s written is something which made me fall in love with this book. I love how we see a part of Sophie\u2019s life then have almost a flashback to when the said things which caused her anxiety is explained. It just makes it that bit more touching and makes you feel more connected with these characters.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the story develops more it becomes harder to put down. I found myself going through a whole heap of emotions whilst feeling so invested in these beautifully written characters. It\u2019s hard to not feel deeply involved emotionally with the life events which get thrown at Sophie. I\u2019m excited to move onto the Christmas sequel book to this story!<\/span><\/p>\n
