Do you ever just think of a ride and think to yourself it just deserved better than it\u2019s given? Or deserves better than it is right now? I was thinking about all the rides which perhaps I\u2019m not overly keen on and how if they were better to some sort of degree I\u2019d love them. This post is purely my opinion and I apologise in advance to anyone who feels upset or irritated by my views, but just remember we are all allowed opinions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Icon – Blackpool Pleasure Beach:<\/span><\/h2>\n

I\u2019ll forever rave about the fact we are so lucky to have this in the UK. There\u2019s simply no avoiding that. Blackpool Pleasure Beach has done an incredible job considering it\u2019s their first newly built rollercoaster in over what 20 years. However, I think the second half could have been much better than it is. The twist and turns for me make the ending a tad too sickly. Whereas we had half the amount of those banked turns then added one final inversion in. It would no doubt be a lot more rideable. Even if they chopped the ride duration down by a few seconds. Other than that it\u2019s fun for what it is.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Colossus – Thorpe Park:<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Strictly speaking I think Colossus has a fab layout. You sit on the front of each carriage with that tad bit more legroom, you\u2019ll end up having a real enjoyable ride experience. However, those carriages simply ruin this coaster. The restraints are far too restrictive, the carriages give you little to no leg room & getting in & out is an absolute nightmare. If this coaster just had better carriages and lap bars, it would be 10 times (no pun intended) the ride it is now.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Odyssey – Fantasy Island:<\/span><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s an outstanding rollercoaster, I ain’t here to say otherwise neither. However, it\u2019s less about the ride experience and more about the off ride experience for this. It deserves so much more. It deserves a proper build-up and bigger station with a maintenance shed. It deserves a two train operations and an actual queue line. Because there\u2019s something seriously unappealing when it comes down to how it looks off ride currently. It\u2019s a shame as the coaster itself is outstanding and one of the best in the UK. Yet it doesn\u2019t have the love elsewhere to support that.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
