I thought I\u2019d search some facts and have a chat about the said rides in this list. So here are the 5 longest rollercoasters in the UK & my thoughts on them if I have experienced them! I\u2019d love to hear how many of these you\u2019ve experienced!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ultimate – Lightwater Valley – 2,268.3m <\/span><\/h2>\n

We are yet to experience this rollercoaster and hope one day it’ll reopen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Big One – Blackpool Pleasure Beach – 1,675.5m:<\/span><\/h2>\n

That\u2019s a lot of track right? I personally adore The Big One it probably is within my top 5 UK thrill coasters. I know it doesn\u2019t offer much airtime but there\u2019s pops of it sometimes. It once scared the crap out of me with its sheer height! But all in all it\u2019s a fab rollercoaster and the new pieces of track in recent years have made a massive difference!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Smiler – Alton Towers – 1,170m:<\/span><\/h2>\n

I\u2019m not all that surprised that The Smiler is this high up! The amount of track that\u2019s crammed into that small footprint is very impressive. It\u2019s not necessarily my favourite rollercoaster at Towers but I wouldn\u2019t say I hate it neither. I have to be in the mood for it to ride it.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Icon – Blackpool Pleasure Beach – 1,143m:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Icon has a lovely ride duration it goes on for what feels like forever. Admittedly it does get bit sickly towards the end of the ride but that\u2019s if you ride it a lot all at once. Icon is beautiful but it\u2019s also a coaster where I have my off days with it. But all told it\u2019s a fab ride and we are lucky to have it in the UK.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Grand National – Blackpool Pleasure Beach – 1,006.4m:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Oh I have such a soft spot for Nashy. Yes it\u2019s rough seat depending and the carriages aren\u2019t the best for comfort. But it\u2019s the 5th longest rollercoaster in the UK and it\u2019s 80 years old this season. Two facts which always makes me appreciate it a little more. I love National and hope to get back on it one day soon.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
