So we are all aware of the fact Valhalla is closed for 2020 season and reopening next year but re-imagined. I thought I’d pop this blog post together to have a chat about 5 things we would love to see change or happen. Of course we know nothing as to what is going to happen we are only speculating and sharing our thoughts. As always we would love to hear what you’d like to happen too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tone Down The Wetness!<\/h3>\n

It’s in England and us Brits never really get consistent good weather therefore it’s only fully enjoyable for about a week or two of the year. It’s insanely wet and that’s sadly something which isn’t good about this ride. Usually it’s not even the drops which get you the wettest it’s those effects which are slightly broken. Therefore we would love to see maybe less effects which get you drenched and perhaps changes to the boats to prevent an absolute soaking.<\/p>\n

There’s nothing worst then when you are getting into these boats they are awful for storing water. Nobody ever likes their feet been wet and this is the worst ride for it. So we would love to see some better draining system added to the boats or in fact brand new boats would be good. If they don’t tone down the wetness then something definitely needs to be done for these boats.<\/p>\n

This is something which personally I hate about Valhalla is having to take your bags onboard. It’s such a nightmare having to either pay for a locker or pop out the park to drop bags off to then collect them again after riding. This wouldn’t be an issue if the ride was the half the wetness. It’s something which definitely has got to change in my opinion the option to leave bags off ride should always of been a thing. Unless they change the sheer amount you get wet then I’ll agree it’s not needed.<\/p>\n

Something which I didn’t enjoy was the hope for the best in regards to effects. You could ride this ride perhaps 5 times in a day and no ride would ever be the same in regards to effects. Therefore sometimes you could wait a while and have next to nothing working inside. We would love to see perhaps fewer effects that work instead of tons of non working effects.<\/p>\n

I was talking to Ant about this the other day actually. Instead of a large quantity of fire I’d love to see some screens added instead. Similar to the likes of Pirates of Caribbean really. Of course the two final burst of flames would be fab if they remained but the rest of the fire effects just on screens instead. We would love to see newer theming added in so all the old theming set pieces completely re-done & looking more modern.<\/p>\n
