Something a little different to our current Halloween orientated schedule of blog post. I thought it be nice to have a chat about the dark rides which we’ve lost within the UK and ones we miss the most. Of course there’s several more than the ones listed however these are the 3 which instantly spring to mind. We hope you enjoy and would love to know what dark rides you miss. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Without a doubt Pirates Adventure is very missed by us and every time we visit Drayton Manor we miss it all the more. It by all means wasn’t the fanciest but it was a fun and quirky boat ride. The theming from what we can remember was fab and if it just had an update \/ refurbishment it would of been perfect. It’s a very sad sight to see the building sat and it not been open anymore. Hopefully one day the building will go to some form of use. What would you like to see happen?<\/p>\n

There’s no denying The Gruffalo is fab but in all seriousness the atmosphere from Bubbleworks is missed. The upbeat and bright aspect of the ride was something we loved the most. If we could have it back for a year we would in a heartbeat. It had such a lovely atmosphere and was overall an adorable boat ride.<\/p>\n

Yes, we know X is still operating technically and nothing has changed to the ride layout. But the theming is something we aren’t keen on making a family friendly ride into a darker theme isn’t something we rate. As for theming at the moment yes it looks good no denying that but we loved X a lot. It was that ride that once broke up the thrills and darker themes.<\/p>\n
