As many of you know we were invited to the media day end of July to celebrate the parks milestones of 2019. I thought I’d share with you all the milestones the park has reached and my personal opinions on each. We hope you enjoy and would love to know your thoughts on them too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Derby Racer Turned 60:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Without a doubt everyone has probably saw the named horses because I’m addicted to sharing it as it’s too adorable. But yeah Derby Racer is 60 years old this season isn’t that crazy? Anyone who knows me will know this ride is my ultimate guilty pleasure and I love it so much. The fact it’s this old is incredible it rides beautifully and is a lot of fun for the entire family. I always hear stories from when my mum was younger with my grandad who passed away on this ride. So it’s truly a special ride to me and I love it so much, here’s to the next milestone!<\/p>\n

The Big One Turned 25:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Big One has reached its 25 birthday and truthfully that weekend it was riding like a dream. I’ve not always loved this ride I admit that, as it used to terrify me I once tried my hardest to avoid riding it. However the older I got the more I’ve learnt to appreciate it and now it’s hard not to sit on it all day!<\/p>\n

Revolution Turned 40:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Anyone knows me will know my utter hate for the stairs getting up to the ride. Without a doubt it’s very intense yet it’s 40 but riding like it’s brand new, that’s incredible. I do love Revolution but sadly don’t get time to ride it enough given the stairs give me bad anxiety.<\/p>\n

White Tower Restaurant Turned 40:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Our first time visiting the restaurant was during the the media event. It’s so cosy and petite inside. The service we received was outstanding and it’s somewhere we will be visiting more often. <\/p>\n

Icons 1st Year Birthday:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Easily the best coaster within the UK and we are so lucky to have a ride of it’s kind within the UK. I personally love Icon and it’s hard to resist not constantly re-riding. It has some of the best throughputs we’ve ever seen as well.<\/p>\n
