Upon paying my drafts a little visit I have come across this blog post which I started back in 2019. Here I am today finishing it too. So, do all rollercoasters require an inversion to be half decent? <\/span><\/p>\n

So, to me, a lot of my favourite rollercoasters rely on other factors to make them my ultimate go-to. Some of those characteristics include airtime, theming &\/or duration. I love a little bit of speed too. There are so many elements to a coaster which can make them thrilling such as the height & drop of The Big One, the snappy launch on Stealth & the duration & theming on Big Thunder Mountain. Such iconic rollercoasters all of which do not offer an inversion.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

By all means, there is some truly tremendous rollercoasters that also includes inversions. But for me, a lot of my favourites don\u2019t. I don\u2019t think adding an inversion is a deal breaker by any means. However, if a coaster was to lack theming, duration, speed, unique feature (like the free-fall drop on Thirteen) or anything along those lines then I think it\u2019s departmental.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The long answer cut short no by all means no coaster needs an inversion to be good. Just look at the excellent wooden rollercoasters we have in the UK which do not offer any kind of upside-down feature. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
