Sadly there’s a handful if not more UK theme parks \/ amusement parks which have closed over the years. They all closed for various reasons some of which we aren’t sure about it. So this blog is talking about those parks and why we’re sad we didn’t get to visit. We’d love to know your thoughts on this topic below in the comments.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

American Adventure Park:<\/u><\/h4>\n

American Adventure would of been really closed to where we live, potentially one of our locals. From the YouTube videos we’ve seen it looked so fab and something we would of adored. It has rides like The Missle which is now located at Pleasurewood Hills and renamed Wipeout. It’s one of the most intense coasters we’ve experienced. I mean they even had rapids and I’m a sucker for a decent rapid ride. But from the line up of rides I’ve found online it had many creds most of which have been relocated to Twinlakes. Which getting into Twinlakes is almost impossible given we don’t have a child.<\/p>\n

Camelot:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Every time we drive past on the M6 to Blackpool and seen Knightmare sit there doing nothing but rotting makes us so sad. Again it had so many coaster creds which we could of grabbed. Admittedly a lot have been relocated but getting round to all the parks they’ve been brought by is tough. It looked pretty well themed from what we’ve saw via videos. <\/p>\n

Frontierland:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Previously owned by the Thompson family who also own Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I mean looking at what the family have done for Pleasure Beach if they didn’t sell it off we could of easily had another fab theme park still. It had a wooden wild mouse admittedly we weren’t huge fans of Wild Mouse at Pleasure Beach. But it would of been so fab to ride another one of them models. It seems to me from the list of rides they once had they had so many classic amusement rides. <\/p>\n

It’s so sad to think there could of been even more theme parks \/ amusement parks within the UK. The ones which are still in operation are fab of course but a few more would of been amazing. Let us know if you’ve visited these places and your thoughts.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
