As somebody who lives in the Midlands this the type of blog is something I’d love to read if I didn’t if that makes sense? As always these are the places we love to go and would recommend others checking out if they haven’t already. By all means we’ll probably miss a few places but that’s only down to us not visiting yet. For now we hope you enjoy this blog.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

3 Theme Parks \/ Amusement Park:<\/u><\/h3>\n

Alton Towers:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Anybody who follows our socials will know that we literally can’t get enough of Alton Towers. We’re incredibly thankful we live so close even if it is an hour & half away it’s still real local. There’s so many quality UK rides and attractions home here it’s so fab! It definitely has an equal mixture of thrills and family rides.<\/p>\n

Drayton Manor:<\/u><\/h4>\n

This is even more local to us then Alton Towers at a 40 minute drive away. It’s again home to countless unique and quality rides within the UK. Drayton Manor does also have a zoo which is one of our favourites to visit. They now offer zoo experiences for an additional fee but reasonable fee at that.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Safari Adventure Park:<\/u><\/h4>\n

It’s not something we’d do without doing the Safari of course but again there’s a real fab bunch of rides for all the family. It’s a lovely day out as there’s so much to do.<\/p>\n

5 Themed Attractions \/ Zoo \/ Others:<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

West Midlands Safari Park:<\/u><\/h4>\n

It has the adventure park along with various of animal based attractions that is included within the Safari Park entry. The Drive Thru Safari takes a lot of your day alone roughly around 1 hour 45 minutes or even longer depending on your speed. We’d recommend purchasing two boxes of feed each online if that’s something you enjoy as you can go through as many times you’d like. It’s truly an incredible experience given how close you get to the animals and some of those which are dangerous. It’s perfect for a family day out.<\/p>\n

Cadbury World:<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n

We wouldn’t necessarily say it’s all that cheap but it’s definitely worth checking it out. When we visited upon entering the attraction they give several free chocolate bars, there’s free sampling throughout, 4D cinema and little dark ride as well. There’s plenty to do within inside. The shop does sell real cheap items compared to the average supermarket.<\/p>\n

Warwick Castle:<\/u><\/h4>\n

Merlin Annual Pass holders you receive free entry all year round and there’s several different events throughout the year. For anybody who enjoys history based attractions and overall fun family day out. There’s bit of everything to do for all the family. As for accessibility it’s not ideal but there’s plenty to do for those who can’t access steps. <\/p>\n

Birmingham Sealife:<\/u><\/h4>\n

It’s definitely a lovely attraction to head to whilst in Birmingham. The theming is immense throughout and there’s such a variety similar to every sealife. All Sealifes offer \u00a33 behind the scenes tour within sealifes we’re unsure as to whether it’s only for Merlin Pass Holders or not. <\/p>\n

Twycross Zoo:<\/u><\/h4>\n

If your an animal lover like myself you’d adore Twycross Zoo. It’s a decent size zoo with many chances to get up close and personal to the animals. As for entry fees it’s very affordable and worth every penny as well. There’s a Lorikeet feeding for \u00a31 a pot which is definitely one of the cheapest we’ve found it. Again it’s the perfect day out for all the family. <\/p>\n
