As Cadbury World is included in our Merlin Annual Pass it just felt daft not to pay our yearly visit and especially given that a lot has changed from our previous visit. So, here\u2019s all about our couple of hours checking it out & SEN’s points of view. <\/span><\/p>\n

Off-Peak:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We visited on an off-peak Monday in September. Crowd levels were basically non-existent. It was one of the better experiences in terms of taking your time and taking in the whole experience without being hurried.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s Included?<\/span><\/h3>\n

We had around 6 chocolate bars given to us & the melted chocolate pot midway through. We did hear that you only have 1 chocolate bar upon entry but this wasn\u2019t the case. Whether that\u2019s related to it being off-peak or not I\u2019m not too sure.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Experience:<\/span><\/h3>\n

From our last visit, the whole experience feels finished again. There weren\u2019t any closed-off points thankfully. Everything appeared to be in tip-top condition. The two pre-shows were the same. The route you take now encourages you to embrace the whole experience and not solely the main building. There were a lot of things to see and learn about Cadbury.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

SEN Friendly \/ Tips:<\/span><\/h3>\n

This was Liara\u2019s first visit. We soon figured out that the 2nd pre-show would make Liara quite overwhelmed and upset. The sudden shaking off the benches and the little hiss made Liara jump despite not sitting on the benches that did move. This then really overwhelmed her. Alongside the banging of the staff making chocolate etc. However, once we popped her headphones on she was absolutely fine and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our visit. If you are a SEN parent I\u2019d suggest carrying headphones just in case. If sudden noises are something which can trigger your little one just be mindful.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Rides:<\/span><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s the 4D experience which we opted to skip for the sake of cooling Liara off after being overwhelmed. However, their new trackless dark ride was fun. By all means, it doesn\u2019t compare to the old tracked ride in my opinion there\u2019s a lot of nostalgia and wholesomeness around that ride. This new ride is very screen-heavy & doesn\u2019t hold the same value in my opinion. Yes, it\u2019s fun and worth trying queue-dependent. But Liara enjoyed it so did we however having both rides would have been the best option.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Is It Worth A Visit?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Honestly, if you\u2019re local it\u2019s worth the visit. It\u2019s a fun hour to 2 hours. There\u2019s no doubt about that. The changes since our last visit make it even more worthwhile. It looks great now too. For us, it\u2019ll be a yearly visit to the push as once you\u2019ve done it you have done it. We don\u2019t find this attraction one you can repeat all too regularly especially given that once you know the story you know the story not a lot changes often in this attraction and it wouldn\u2019t make sense too neither. However, it\u2019s worth the visit if you haven\u2019t already it\u2019s one of those things that is worth trying and exploring.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
