We were ever so lucky to be gifted our stay over at Crealy following their media event to celebrate Maximus alongside announcing some 2026 additions. We were put up in their Haven Caravans which are brand new for 2025 and here are our thoughts!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Accommodation:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We’ve stayed in many caravans over the years it\u2019s often one of our preferred accommodations. This was a brand new caravan for 2025 caravan and it was stunning. Firstly, it\u2019s worth pointing out how pristine it was upon arrival. Sometimes you arrive at a caravan and you can tell others have been in there prior but this time it genuinely felt brand new like never been stayed in before.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The living room was spacious with a lovely large corner sofa, dining table and a smaller-than-expected-size TV for the space. This space joins onto the balcony which is again a really reasonable size. It\u2019s worth mentioning that this caravan also has central heating which is VERY<\/strong> much appreciated particularly with having a toddler.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking & living. Something that hasn\u2019t gone amiss is the large bin in the kitchen may sound minor but anyone who\u2019s done caravan holidays will know that typically the bins are very small & overflow easily. There is a lovely big fridge freezer, oven and air fryer too. The only thing missing from the kitchen is a dishwasher we’ve stayed in older caravans that had one. Our caravan had 2 bathrooms one with a shower the other without. Again, both were well cleaned and of reasonable sizes.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

We were in a 3-bed caravan which isn\u2019t the type we often get to experience. There are two bedrooms with double single beds in the master bedroom. Unfortunately, the bedrooms weren\u2019t big enough to have Liara\u2019s travel cot in them which meant I slept on the sofa with Liara in the living room. My night’s sleep wasn\u2019t tremendous due to this reasoning (I don\u2019t like leaving to sleep in spaces close to the entry door). The sofa definitely isn’t a bed which no doubt explains why my sleep wasn’t great.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Things Worth Noting:<\/span><\/h3>\n

These caravans are self-catering. Towels are provided as is bedding. But if you\u2019re staying over in these types of accommodation always bring along a little bag of things you typically need daily.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Clubhouse:<\/span><\/h3>\n

There is a little venue on-site that hosts entertainment on selected nights, has a small arcade and a bar that also serves food. We visited here after the media event on Friday and it had a really lovely chilled atmosphere with a nice level of background music. The food looked stunning around us too. As for the drinks, the pricing was incredibly reasonable likewise for the food I\u2019ll insert a photo below. If anything could improve with this space it would be just having it a tiny bit bigger. If the campsite was full I\u2019d imagine this would be quite cramped.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

On-Site Activities:<\/span><\/h3>\n

As a resort, there\u2019s a decent amount to do. There\u2019s an adventure golf course which is \u00a36 each or 4 for \u00a320 which is decently priced. As well as sports activities and quad bike hire. <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h3>\n

The caravan was gorgeous. However, we did struggle during the evening with having a younger family & not being able to get Liara\u2019s travel cot into our bedroom. But if you have children who sleep in their own beds you\u2019d have no issue at all. The space that\u2019s within the caravan is perfect. There\u2019s enough room for a family of 4 and more. Unfortunately, we had on-and-off rain during our stay otherwise we\u2019d definitely have used our balcony.<\/span><\/p>\n
