Before you go on your way to <em>FINALLY<\/em> get onto the ride. They aren\u2019t necessary, particularly for rollercoasters\u2026. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">To some degree.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dark Rides I welcome pre-shows all day every day. Purely because if they are done right they\u2019ll set the style of the experience you&#8217;re about to explore and give you a clear insight into aspects of the ride that wouldn\u2019t make sense without that quick backstory. I do prefer rolling pre-shows still. I genuinely can\u2019t recall one rollercoaster that I felt was made better by the pre-show. There\u2019s no big fancy stop-start pre-show to tolerate instead the theming is all over which tells the story alone. A simple bit of googling and the story is ever so apparent. Give me details, theming &amp; a story anytime. Just don\u2019t input a pre-show that holds up the queue and throughput, looking at you Wicker Man.
