Getting In + Parking:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s very easy to get into Flamingo Land and the car park is right outside the entrance. Of course, there is no grand entrance but to be honest, that\u2019s unwarranted anyway. You head to the ticket scanners and scan your tickets in you go. That\u2019s how simple it is no faffing around. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Rides \/ Attractions:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I truly loved Flamingo Land before but this time around fell in love with the park so much more. As much as we love the thrill rides this trip with Liara meant we could appreciate the underrated attractions that are easily disregarded. Last time we visited we missed an entire section of the park as we simply didn\u2019t know it existed. This time we found that area and it had a little dark ride as well called Mischief Mansion. Honestly, it was brilliant. Just the traditional simplicity of this ride was charming. But it wasn’t the worst dark ride we’ve ever done yet there\u2019s no denying it perhaps needs a little bit of TLC but that almost sums up the charm. Of course, we managed to get on a few of the coasters too. SIK is riding quite like the dream still. Mumbo Jumbo is just insane. I\u2019ll speak about the toddler\/baby-friendly rides below.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the rides, there is so much more to enjoy too. There\u2019s an entire splash area, entertainment including live shows, Peter Rabbit experience and so much more.<\/p>\n

Throughputs:<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is possibly one of the things about the park I don\u2019t particularly enjoy. The throughputs aren\u2019t amazing by any means. They could quite easily be that bit quicker with adding more ride vehicles. I\u2019m not too sure the reasons behind the decision to have everything on 1 train at all times but it\u2019s not something I think the park does good at. Hopefully, one day we\u2019ll see the slightly improvements on this front.\u00a0 <\/span>But that being said I will say the staff do a brilliant job given what they are working with. Trains are dispatched as quickly as they possibly can. So, hats off to the staff for trying their utter best with the limited options they have to provide good throughput.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Zoo:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Flamingo Land is more than just a theme park there\u2019s a whole zoo to enjoy too. There\u2019s a wide variety of animals to see and their enclosures have many different footpaths and some even have CCTV inside the enclosures so you never miss the animals. It\u2019s a nice break away from the mayhem around the rides and a perfect opportunity to just enjoy a stroll around.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Is It Toddler Friendly?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Absolutely! Flamingo Land so far has been the most accommodating theme park for Liara. They\u2019ve got such a combination of rides that she can enjoy even some bigger rides (for toddlers) you wouldn\u2019t necessarily have the chance to do elsewhere. She managed to do multiple rides and loved them all. Those under 0.9m can do a variety of rides as long as they can sit unassisted and are accompanied by an adult. Liara even managed to ride her first rock & tug ride and it was a firm hit! The safety on the rides is different to what we\u2019ve seen elsewhere for little ones they have to wear a seatbelt on most rides which works great. For babies who are unable to sit up unaided, I\u2019m not entirely sure there\u2019s much to experience. But those who can\u2019t sit unaided probably shouldn\u2019t be doing many rides anyway. For toddlers, it\u2019s a firm hit and somewhere I can\u2019t recommend enough.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Food:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We ate at the Chinese restaurant near Hero. It was scrumptious. Such a unique food offering to see around a theme park and it was worth every penny. I had a plain chow mein and Ant created his box for two meals which came to \u00a316.50. The portion sizes are pretty big too neither of us managed to eat the full amount. In terms of food quality, it was stunning. If you\u2019re visiting Flamingo Land this summer check out this food outlet you won\u2019t regret it.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall: <\/span><\/h3>\n

Flamingo Land is not a one-day park in my opinion. We were there from opening to pass close and still didn\u2019t manage to ride everything we had hoped to ride. The park is brilliant it\u2019s one of our firm favourites within the UK despite the lack of decent throughput it\u2019s unimaginable not to have a good day. The majority of the rides are unique and cannot able to be found elsewhere in the UK. The staff are friendly and the park looks pristine. They even allow dogs into the park (not the zoo) too. There\u2019s the broadest range of food offerings to choose from all ranging within price but none being overly over the top. Toddlers have a whole heap of things to do and explore. It\u2019s the perfect family day out for everyone. We love Flamingo Land. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
