CBeebies Land is an area we see probably the most of these days. Having a 1 year old it\u2019s kind of a given this is the new Forbidden Valley to us (just less monster-like theming). But having spent that much time in the area and seen it from a new perspective and more notably through the eyes of the actual target audience it\u2019s quite an invigorating experience. Let\u2019s talk all about this area what\u2019s on offer currently, eateries, upcoming changes & everything in between. <\/span><\/p>\n

Entertainment:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Given the cutbacks of entertainment away from CBeebies Land, it is rejuvenating to have this option. There is a respectable quantity of shows throughout the day featuring all different characters from the well-known and loved TV shows aired on CBeebies. This includes Bing, Teletubbies and so much more. Aside from the Big Fun Showtime, there\u2019s also The Furchester Hotel which is another show. We\u2019re yet to see that show but that’s an indoor space rather outdoor like the other. The shows we have caught have all that relaxed volume, excellent duration and been fun to watch. Liara\u2019s pretty much appreciated them all. The characters all look fab too. The setting of the main entertainment space is easy on the eyes too and the fact that guests are encouraged to be seated on the grass is excellent for providing everyone the possibility to see clearly.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Ride Offering:<\/span><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s the perfect variety of rides for those who are tiny to those almost ready to spread their wings to other areas of the park. You have In The Night Garden (Liara\u2019s firm favourite) to Octonatus Rollercoaster. It\u2019s quite the assortment but something for everyone. It\u2019s lovely when there are rides that don\u2019t have any height restrictions especially given our little tiny dot. The theming to all of the rides is often beautifully done not being too overwhelming with too much to look at but enough to make it well-themed for the little ones to enjoy.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Lunchbox:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We have only eaten in here once and that was for the first time early this season. It\u2019s not an eatery I intend to revisit anytime soon unless it\u2019s for Liara\u2019s lunch only. For us, the adult menu was quite restricted, but the pricing and the food quality weren’t matched. However, the toddler menu, it\u2019s the opposite and well-priced with an okay selection of food. The way of ordering is very straightforward, especially with allergens. Liara\u2019s dairy-free (CMPA) and the process was stress-free she loved her meal too. It’s excellent to see choices in a theme park to eat that aren\u2019t burgers or hot dogs and are a little healthier. I feel the logic as to why we wouldn\u2019t eat here goes for the same across the rest of the park and is not necessarily subjective to this restaurant.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Sensory Room:<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is somewhere Liara truly cherishes. This is a space dedicated to those who have SEN needs to go and cool off from the chaotic environment outside. It\u2019s a captivating space that\u2019s replenished with peace and a sensory seeker (Liara) heaven. Admittedly, there have been times you can see this space has been used for more of a soft play adventure by those who perhaps don\u2019t realise the true intentions of the space created. We\u2019ve had some delightful experiences within this space with the staff who have looked after us, particularly Liara. Having this kind of option never really arose to us before Liara came into our lives and now we truly value simply the consideration that has gone into developing this safe environment. So, hats off to Alton Towers for being inclusive.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Meet & Greets:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I never realised how many meet-and-greets happened before having Liara. Again the staff overseeing the mascots are true angels and ensure the best exchange is had. Liaras had the honour to meet Upsy Daisy and Hey Duggee and both times had the time of her life. We\u2019re yet to make it in time to meet Iggle Piggle as that\u2019s truly the one who\u2019s going to steal Liara\u2019s heart. But by the time he was out she was fast asleep (typical really). But after the shows within the Big Fun Showtime space, there\u2019s also the opportunity to meet and greet the characters. It\u2019s just lovely having the chance to have your child meet their favourite characters and it\u2019s always been handled to what we\u2019ve seen so beautifully and effortlessly by the staff.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Upcoming Changes: <\/span><\/h3>\n

Of course, 2026 will see CBeebies Land welcome a brand new addition in the replacements of the Postman Pat ride. We\u2019re pretty sad to see that system leave the area, especially given the replacement will have a height restriction that narrows the rides down to a few that those under 0.9m can enjoy. So far what has been shared regarding this new arrival and from the rumours it appears to be a rollercoaster and potentially Bluey-themed. This is VERY on trend with how popular that IP is and I think that does make sense. In addition, the new arrival has also meant that Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure has had to be compressed too. This ride already had prolonged queues with an extended ride layout so this is either going to go one or two ways and make the queue times more endurable or worse only time will tell. Either way, we\u2019re intrigued by the change but also not sure it was the best move in regards to the ride choice given CBeebies Land does not need two coasters when the primary age strived at is toddlers and pre-schoolers. I guess the bottom line is at least the area is acquiring investment regardless of opinions.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h3>\n

CBeebies Land is somewhere I love personally. Of course, that\u2019s not to say there aren\u2019t areas which need some TLC and care particularly the Something Special garden. But just watching Liara adore the area too is a massive win. It truly is a toddler \/ pre-schooler paradise. It\u2019s brightly themed, with familiar voices and sounds all around, characters dotted all over and lots of interaction to be had. The warming and homely aura is quite the vibe you want really. There\u2019s something for everyone regardless of preferences and age range to enjoy. As a parent, it\u2019s not disorganized either with nice wide pathways and plenty of baby changing facilities, toilets, benches and places to park the pram up. If you have a child who loves CBeebies this is the place for you!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
