When I say there were no queues at Legoland I mean no queues! A little off-peak trip happened to Legoland just last week for us and here is how our day went!<\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, heading into the park the most apparent thing was the nonexistent entrance sign. I believe this is due to it getting a refurbishment so we\u2019re intrigued to see how the fresh one looks once it arrives! It was quite deceiving entering the park as it looked a lot busier than it was with multiple coach trips and the car park looking fuller than expected. But we were golden it was VERY<\/strong> peaceful. No queues went above 15 minutes which is just dreamy!\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Across the Merlin parks at the minute throughputs and operations as a whole have been quite shoddy in all honesty. However, Legoland did lift those spirits and was running pretty smoothly! A few rides did have some downtime but that\u2019s to be anticipated. The only ride which was shut all day without planned maintenance was Haunted House Party but let\u2019s be truthful it\u2019s not like the Vekoma Madhouses have much luck these days.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

It was truly delightful to step inside Deep Sea Adventure again. The upgrades throughout have made the ride so much prettier and it was sweet to see Liara\u2019s reaction too. However, the air con desperately needs to be sorted in the Submarine themselves. It does get a touch too warm inside. The Dragon was another ride where the indoor section looked gorgeous. Every effect was working some of which we haven\u2019t seen functioning in years, the smell pods were strong and the lightning looked to be updated but I\u2019m not too sure. Either way, the care across the park\/rides is tremendous.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The latest editions to the line Mini Figure Speedway never fail to surprise me. They look tame but do have that touch of intensity and feel much quicker than they look. Both sides are epic but the Blue feels a smidge faster. It truly is just a wonderful needed addition to the park and we love them so much.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The park felt like a lease of fresh air in comparison to recent visits to both Chessington and Alton Towers where not every area looks great. But here definitely felt dissimilar. Truthfully, this was the visit we needed to get us to fall in love with theme parks again. It\u2019s the longest we\u2019ve stayed at a theme park in years. We even attempted their delicious Dragon shakes which were phenomenal! There were also some pretty decent discounts across the park for Annual Passholders with meals priced at \u00a310 for an adult and all sorts. Check out the signs as you head around the park to discover the bargains and make use of the offers.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
