It\u2019s a little bizarre this is the first time we\u2019ve ever stayed in the actual main Alton Towers hotel! We\u2019re so delighted we have though! Let\u2019s have a chat about our stay! <\/span><\/p>\n

Pricing & Check-In:<\/span><\/h3>\n

The pricing of the hotel was decent as we stayed during off-peak but we also had an extra discount code. We paid \u00a388.80 for our night stay. Check-in follows the typical norm of the other hotels with a pre-check-in link a few days prior and upon arrival there\u2019s the \u00a35 deposit held for the room and screens which check you in. <\/span><\/p>\n

Benefits:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Typically you acquire 9-hole golf tickets & breakfast too. As pass holders, we don\u2019t need tickets to the park as we pre-book using the portal but I am sure if you book without being pass holders you do have to book them individually now. Of course, you get entry to the hotel entrance which pops you into Forbidden Valley beating those Monorail queues first thing but also gets you access to those rides faster too.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Room:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I was truly taken aback by how exceptionally detailed the room was and the tiny details which just made it one of the best-themed rooms we\u2019ve probably ever stayed in. The light switches were themed, the walls, the carpet you name it. There’s even a big teddy sitting on the bed of course he wasn’t for keeps but it’s a lovely touch.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very spacious. It felt really clean. There\u2019s a beautiful little children\u2019s area which is disconnected from the central bedroom area giving all those staying privacy. The bathroom was the ideal size. Our only criticism would be the fact we were told there was going to be a cot in our room for Liara but there wasn\u2019t thankfully we had our own with us for this reason.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Hotel Offerings:<\/span><\/h3>\n

The hotel offers an arcade, gift shop, Costa Coffee, bar & outdoor seating alongside a restaurant. The evening entertainment has been noticeably reduced and not as long as it was once. It included a family game show to win money and, a singing show and that\u2019s all we managed to catch. The pricing of drinks again has inevitably risen with pints ranging from \u00a37-\u00a38 and cocktails anywhere from \u00a311-\u00a314.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Dinner & Breakfast:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We headed over to Flambo Jambos for our dinner which is an all-you-can-eat buffet in the neighbour hotel Splash Landings. We spent \u00a348 for two adults using our MAP for the discount. The prices range from \u00a35.50 for toddlers to \u00a329.50 for adults. Our sceptical feeling surrounding the food was very quickly banished as it was truly beautiful. The range of food available was frankly impressive and the quality was equally as promising.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Breakfast we had in our hotel (Secret Garden Restaurant ) was included in the price of the room. Again the quality was much better than we anticipated but the assortment of offerings was also perfect. This restaurant is really appealing and very comparable to Plaza Gardens at Disneyland Paris for its style. <\/span><\/p>\n

Would We Stay Again?<\/span><\/h3>\n

We are already planning our next stay in a different themed room. We were impressed by the fierce attention to detail across the room. But the restaurants within the hotels although it was costly also had remarkable food which we thoroughly appreciated. Although the entertainment has been decreased we still had a pleasant evening nonetheless.<\/span><\/p>\n
