When thinking of Alton Towers the first thing you think about is the rollercoasters, the thrills, the events, CBeebies Land & all the stereotypical things that come with a theme park. It never is one of their most underrated attractions. Yes, I\u2019m heading into Mutiny Bay in my mind & straight to Sharkbait Reef. The little Sea Life Centre within Alton Towers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sharkbait Reef is a shorter version of the Sea Life Centres you\u2019ll find up & down the country. Filled with various aquatics but also some pretty fun theming aspects. Just think of your standard Sea Life like Birmingham, Manchester or London but just that bit more consolidated and in the heart of one of the best UK theme parks. There\u2019s this true sense of tranquillity and zen away from the loud screams, rollercoaster rumbles and loudness that follow your theme park audio. It\u2019s a lovely welcomed break away from the chaos that lives outside.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

This Sea Life has the traditional tunnel alongside all the regular fishes you\u2019ll find elsewhere. It has its own little theme of pirates that streams beautifully. Walking through it\u2019s aesthetically pleasing and atmospheric.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s not the first thing you\u2019ll want to do or even think of when visiting Alton Towers not against some of the offerings that are on the table for you. But it\u2019s somewhere you certainly need to spare the odd 5-10 minutes of your day to explore. For those who have younger families, it\u2019s a must-visit. Our daughter Liara tends to find the lawns & entertainment based there very overwhelming and this was the perfect cool down and calm from that mini storm she went through. It\u2019s ideal for those with toddlers or babies who are possibly too tiny to enjoy the majority of what Alton Towers has to offer.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
