I first visited Alton Towers a month after CBeebies Land opened and here we are today as a mummy returning with my daughter. It\u2019s crazy how 360 life can be?! CBeebies Land is one of the most fun, uplifting and bright places to visit that fills our little ones with nothing but utter joy and bliss. It\u2019s one of those areas I couldn\u2019t dream of Alton Towers without. But the events team put together an absolutely outstanding event & after all they even had Mr Tumble\u2026. YES<\/strong>!!\u2026 THE. Mr Tumble, well Justin Fletcher but he was actually before our eyes! <\/span><\/p>\n

CBeebies Land:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Of course, we have never really explored this area of Alton Towers but after walking around yesterday it was really nice to see how beautifully themed it is. There are a lot of familiar faces from back when we were young and watched the channel. I can\u2019t say I recognised anything that\u2019s particular for the 10 years other than the Bluey additions over on the showtime area. But it\u2019s an area I\u2019m very enthusiastic to explore again when Liara is a bit older and more aware. It looks like the perfect place for families with young children the colours just bop and I love the fact it\u2019s all so sensory-based. There\u2019s something for every child regardless of their needs & enjoyment preferences.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Entertainment:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Just imagine a really cheesy house party filled with characters from the TV, you got it? That\u2019s precisely what it was! We managed to catch Justin which was really exciting and he took us to Ibiza for children. Although I\u2019m not completely sure why it was as loud as it was. It was a bit overwhelming for Liara so we had to stand quite far back. He sang a whole ton of songs from Mr Tumble and general party songs. Unfortunately, we didn\u2019t manage to catch the other shows. But the set-up was brilliant. Around the stage in the little central bit of the lawn were loads of various activities for the children to enjoy. The lawn having the awning was really fab as well!\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Food Offerings:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We tried some of the food offerings on the lawns which I believe is new for this year and it\u2019s the wrap stall. I promise you if you visit Alton Towers and it\u2019s still open you really have to try it. It\u2019s \u00a38 and you build your own wrap virtually like a subway-style eatery and it\u2019s something I think Alton Towers need to invest in long term. It\u2019s relatively healthy and extremely filling and fed two of us. As for the other offerings of course you had the bar with CBeebies smoothies, burgers, sweet treats etc. All of these are typically what you find during other events with some other modifications. Of course, they are all outsourced so pass discounts aren\u2019t an option but they were all relatively fair priced anyway.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Decor:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Heading down Tower Street you\u2019re welcomed by the cutest party frogs which I absolutely adore! The iconic frogs have sat there for years and have finally been incorporated into the park even more so. There\u2019s bunting and the massive birthday cake from Alton Towers 40th just decorated up to suit the event. I really love the way the park transforms to suit the tone of each event.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h3>\n

If this is an insight into events to come this year we\u2019re truly in for a treat. It was absolutely terrific for the children. My only bit of feedback was the sound on the stage was far too loud and quite overbearing. I can\u2019t say I\u2019ve ever known anything from the stage to be that loud if I\u2019m honest. Everything else was brilliant. It was a lot of fun even as an adult.<\/span><\/p>\n
