Oh, it\u2019s been a long while since I put together a theme park blog and I\u2019m delighted to be back! So, The Big One is no longer the Biggest one in the UK\u2026 30 whole years is VERY<\/strong> impressive to keep that record though! So, here are 5 reasons why I\u2019m hyped to experience Hyperia. <\/span><\/p>\n

The First Drop: <\/span><\/h3>\n

I haven\u2019t ever seen a drop on a rollercoaster quite like it. Of course, we aren\u2019t particularly well blessed with extremely thrilling first drops here in the UK and nor have we experienced all that many coasters outside the UK either. I\u2019m so intrigued by what it\u2019ll feel like on the ride & I hope it lives up to the expectations I hold for it. <\/span><\/p>\n

UK\u2019s Fastest & Tallest:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Oh hello, two big records to retain. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s much to say on that front really. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Lapbar:<\/span><\/h3>\n

All the new records it\u2019s taken with a lap bar\u2026 absolute joy! If the carriages are like the OG Icon ones then what a treat. <\/span><\/p>\n

Outer Bank Turn:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s a component I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever encountered on a rollercoaster. The fact it whips you to the side so high up almost looks terrifying. No doubt that\u2019s going to be a grip-on-for-dear-life kind of moment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Stall; <\/span><\/h3>\n

Call me captivated I quite enjoy stalls anyway but this being so lengthy has got me giddy. I can only start to speculate the sensation that it provides and it gets me replenished with excitement just thinking of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

But now I need to see if all this hype I feel will be fulfilled by the beast herself. Hopefully won\u2019t be too long until we get down to Thorpe Park to have a ride for ourselves. I shall report back with whether it\u2019s worth the hype or not in a few months or maybe even weeks\u2026. <\/span><\/p>\n
