It\u2019s definitely been a hot minute since we headed off to Drayton Manor and our first trip in a few years was for a zoo day with our little girl. Since our last visit to the park we have moved even closer and now only live around 20 minutes away which is fab!<\/span><\/p>\n

Ticket Prices & Opening Times:<\/span><\/h3>\n

At a reasonable \u00a310 each with opening hours of 10 am – 3 pm! You really cannot complain at all. One of the cheaper zoos to visit during those wintery months even if the zoo itself isn\u2019t the biggest still well worth the money to visit.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s Included?<\/span><\/h3>\n

There\u2019s only one set of toilets open and both sets of toilets have baby changing facilities which ain\u2019t something you see all that often so hats off to the park for that! The little tearoom next door to them is where you can grab a bite to eat and drink. The whole zoo is open to enjoy and parking is also included in the price. Of course, part of the zoo includes the Dino Trail as well as a Thomas Tank Engine-themed Play Area.

The Animals:<\/span><\/h3>\n

From our last visit, there seem to be some new arrivals! However, due to how peaceful & relaxed it was around the zoo a lot of the animals were out and about. It\u2019s the first time in years we\u2019ve seen the Tiger out in its enclosure. It was lovely to see so much maintenance and TLC happening across the area. Of course, the highlight of the trip was definitely seeing the lovely Red Pandas and Cockatoos! It\u2019s beautiful to see the animals so cared for as that\u2019s always crucial at any zoo.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere In The Park:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It was our first time seeing the Viking Land and the brand-new rollercoaster even if it was from a distance and honestly, both looked stunning. It was tremendous to see the staff adding some finishing touches ahead of the season. The park from the access we had looks amazing and very very unlike how we left it all those years ago. We can\u2019t wait to return for the main season! <\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It was a really delightful hour and a bit just having a ponder around. There\u2019s nothing better than seeing the improvements consistently happening to ensure the animals have the best enclosure and enrichment. The staff we clocked around today was all working so hard at ensuring so. The animals all seemed very happy and content within their habitats. Although the zoo is little it\u2019s that ideal little trip out of the house and something we\u2019ll probably do every year now.\u00a0 <\/span>Evaluating the costs you just can\u2019t grumble at all. It was also so lovely to be back at our local.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
