Although the Spooky season isn\u2019t quite the same for us this year I thought I\u2019d keep the Spooky season alive on my blogs! The UK scare events have a tendency to create characters which are just brilliant and perhaps don\u2019t get spoken about quite enough! So, I thought I\u2019d pop together a list of my top 5 we\u2019ve had encounters with! <\/span><\/p>\n

Buckwheats – Thorpe Park:<\/span><\/h3>\n

There are no characters that quite compare to the energy these guys have. The Buckwheats to me were a genius idea from Thorpe Park they brought their whole story to life with Creak Freak Massacre to expand further with Creak Freak Unchained but now sadly their home has been destroyed and removed. But these characters will forever be iconic for the rest of time. The individual personalities that were created were everything. Thorpe Park needs to try to incorporate them for the rest of time in my opinion. More importantly, these characters were performed beautifully by some of the most gifted actors & actresses to date. They just embraced their characters so beautifully.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

The Crows – Thorpe Park<\/span><\/h3>\n

No character have I ever met that has made me crumble with fear like these guys. Yet again another Thorpe Park character invention that has really altered everything for Fright Nights in my opinion. These guys are just haunting to look at I physically can\u2019t bring myself to ever go through their scare zone because I think it would possibly end me off completely. It\u2019s the way they walk, stand & just be a scarecrow. I\u2019ll never forget the first time I saw the way their masks looked so realistic. These are just scare perfections that can\u2019t go anywhere for sure.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Alton Ancestors <\/span><\/h3>\n

These guys are just Scarefest. If they ever removed them I genuinely think a bit of Scarefest would be lost too. There\u2019s nothing better than on that cold autumnal morning walking into the park to be welcomed by these guys then standing with a coffee and watching their flash mob. They aren\u2019t always the same characters every year they do shake it up and that\u2019s always exciting to see what costumes you\u2019ll see year after year. They are brilliant at interacting with guests too.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Cast From Hillbilly Joes Zombie Zoo – Screamfest Burton<\/span><\/h3>\n

An entire scare maze filled with such a mixture of characters and quite honestly the ones you\u2019d least predict in a scare maze and that\u2019s just what works. It\u2019s hilariously amusing how good the scares can be by someone dressed as a hot dog. I love the absurdity yet cherish the jump scares combined into one. I know it\u2019s not perhaps a firm favourite amongst many but I bloody adore it. Please keep this maze for as long as possible with these silly characters!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Brian – Tulleys Shocktoberfest<\/span><\/h3>\n

An individual character who I absolutely adore each season & very sad to miss this year, it\u2019s Brian! This man is absolutely fantastic never fails to crack us up and is a true gem to Tulleys. Not scary as such but hilarious for sure. I hope this guy never leaves and his actor returns again each year because it wouldn\u2019t be the same without him!\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
