Looking at places to visit around the West Midlands \/ Warwickshire with your Merlin Annual Pass? October half-term is just around the corner and before you know it you\u2019ll be looking for adventures to have with your little ones. Or perhaps you\u2019re someone who just wants to explore more attractions. Either way here is a list of places you can visit with your Merlin Annual Pass.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please check the opening times of each attraction prior to the visit and any potential restrictions on your annual pass.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Alton Towers:<\/span><\/h3>\n

One of my favourite places to visit is Alton Towers! There\u2019s currently a summer event with a handful of shows to catch during the Summer months. This season has seen The Curse at Alton Manor open its doors to guests and is easily one of THE<\/strong> best UK dark rides that you don\u2019t want to miss experiencing. You can also catch a glimpse over at the construction site for the re-tracking of the legendary Nemesis! Whilst you\u2019re checking out the progress of the construction why not visit The Phalanx facility and get to know Nemesis more with a ride on the recently reopened Nemesis Sub Terra. Whether all those thrills aren\u2019t for you or your family you can visit the UK’s ONLY<\/strong> CBeebies Land to meet the Teletubbies or take a ride with Postman Pat! Alton Towers has something for everyone in your family whether that\u2019s thrills or taking a steady stroll amongst the gardens or through the Sealife. Even outside of the theme park, there is so much to explore including their Waterpark & Crazy Golf.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Cadbury World:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s finally arrived for us passholders to enjoy! Enjoy a tour around Cadbury World and watch the chocolate be made with some delicious samples as you walk through. There\u2019s also a cute little dark ride & 4D cinema for guests to enjoy! Passholders receive 20% off the shop as well.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Bear Grylls Adventure: <\/span><\/h3>\n

Looking for something for those who enjoy physical activities? There are a handful of activities which are included with your Merlin Annual Pass including Archery, Climb, Shooting & High Ropes. However, you do receive 25% off snorkelling with sharks and 50% off iFly as well. Again, Bear Grylls is exceptionally close to the other Merlin attractions in Birmingham making it manageable to spend a full day exploring them all.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Warwick Castle:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Summer at Warwick Castle is truly the perfect time to visit with so many different shows & events happening throughout. You can catch the iconic War of the Roses, Legend of the Trebuchet & Falconers Quest. There\u2019s also the tremendous Dragon Slayer show during selected days of August which is an additional charge but well worth every penny as well as Sundown Spectacular! Aside from all the entertainment & shows there\u2019s so much history to brush up on & explore whilst visiting too.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Lego Discovery Birmingham: <\/span><\/h3>\n

If your are someone who has younger children you can also visit Lego Discovery where you can explore all ends of Lego. There are multiple things to do within this attraction. If you\u2019re over 18 they also do adults-only evenings too occasionally. It\u2019s best to keep an eye on their website for those dates. <\/span><\/p>\n

Birmingham Sea Life: <\/span><\/h3>\n

One of my favourite Sea Life Centres to visit in Birmingham. It\u2019s so beautifully themed and even has a 4D cinema as well. The duration of this attraction is admirable with so many distinct species to see. The perfect day out with the family especially given Lego Discovery is close meaning you could make a full day of doing Merlin attractions!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
