I found this in my notes and thought why not share it with you guys? After all, it\u2019s been 6 years since we very abruptly lost Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Does anyone else recall the day the news broke like it was just yesterday?? Yeah, same, it was a surprise, to say the least.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Opening Twitter up that day to see the photo which I honestly believed was photoshopped. Yet it turned out to be genuine. All so suddenly demolished and like that, a bit of history gone without a single peep from the park themselves. I wasn\u2019t all that sure how to feel about the situation whether you loved it or hated it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">When I was younger I did care to ride every visit and that did persist until possibly a year or two before its destruction. It almost had this enticing feel to it no matter how I felt afterwards I\u2019d hop in the little mice and whiz around. It was quite easily one of those coasters which still terrified me until the moment it left. I always found those tight corners rather ominous &amp; the steep drops were filled with ferocious airtime. They were just ace. The way they were little mice with individual names was always a cuteness overload for me. As a child, it was always delightful to see what mice you would board<\/span><span class=\"s1\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I always found it impossible to understand the space without the iconic ride remaining there. It\u2019s strange to look back now &amp; picture this coaster being sat there in The Hub. Yet at the time of removal, I couldn\u2019t have visualised it ever being gone given that\u2019s all I had ever known the majority of us have ever known. I do appreciate why it caused a lot of unhappiness to so many. I for one did feel quite disappointed with the news.
