I gathered a trip report that perhaps wouldn\u2019t be quite right from this trip given the amount of them I have given you in the last 3\/4 years. So, let\u2019s focus on the fact that we visited in January & more or less how it compares to the other months we have visited. <\/span><\/p>\n

Queue Times:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Quite honestly I thought it was a tad busier than I had expected but it\u2019s by all means exceptionally quieter than it would be if you visited in September let\u2019s say. Typically the biggest queue would always be Crush\u2019s Coaster which was anywhere between 60-90 minutes long. But using the app to observe the queue times helps a ton. It seems that it would get down to 25\/30 minutes around 1-2 pm. But of course, that may vary. We are still in their 30th-anniversary celebrations.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Low-Season:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Within low season not a great ordeal is that much different besides crowd levels. I wouldn\u2019t say anything big during our trip was closed for refurbishment. The only closures we had was Its A Small World & Cars Road Trip.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Food Eateries:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Booking a reservation is key at least two months prior. But if you\u2019re looking for the on-the-go services then don\u2019t expect them all to be open. Quite a few of the ones we headed to for a snack were closed. So, do bare that in mind.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Shows:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Surprisingly there were a lot of shows at this time. When we visited before in November there wasn\u2019t one. In the main park was the Dream & Shine Brighter show which happens 4 times a day. Definitely check the app as the show times can fluctuate as we found out during this visit. As well as The Lion King show. We didn\u2019t manage to fit that in during our trip, unfortunately. Over in Studios, there\u2019s Stitch Live, Disney Junior Dream Factory & Frozen Musical Invitation. We managed to watch Disney Junior which was a lot of fun & review is coming very soon. Meanwhile, we attempted to watch the Frozen show every day of our trip and never succeeded as the closest showing was always full. So, definitely get there early as you can.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Opening Times:<\/span><\/h3>\n

During our visit the opening times were reasonable. So, as we stayed onsite both parks opened from 8:30-9:30 for magic hours. Outside those hours it was 10am to 8pm for main park with a 7 pm close for Studios. Both of which feel quite reasonable. \"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Ride Reliability:<\/span><\/h3>\n

This was something we have experienced an the issue with before. But quite a few rides did tend to go down throughout our trip. It wasn\u2019t to the point where we noticed it too much but it was apparent. With it being January I guess it\u2019s quite a typical occurrence for ride breakdowns as they head into their annual maintenance months.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Weather:<\/span><\/h3>\n

We had a very very cold trip. So, if you\u2019re visiting in January expect minus temperatures and occasionally a little bit of rain which can impact certain shows which is also key to think about.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I think January is a lovely month to visit. The crowd levels are so low it allows you to fully embrace all of the parks without it been too stressful to navigate around. There\u2019s plenty of characters to meet as well they don\u2019t strip back on that at all. Perhaps we fell lucky with the lack of ride closures as well. Essentially it just like a typical season for Disneyland without the mass crowd levels. I would definitely visit again in January for sure.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n
