I feel as if this is one of the most random blog posts I\u2019ve come up with in all honesty. But I feel our emotions don\u2019t get spoken about enough with rollercoasters. To non-enthusiasts this probably sounds slightly insane but after all these rides provide some sort of sensation which we individually feel differently. <\/span><\/p>\n

Happy – Stealth – Thorpe Park<\/span><\/h3>\n

I feel Stealth provides me with a a lot of joy. The feeling of the launch, the floating at the top of the top hat & airtime to the brake run. It\u2019s all the things I love from a coaster within a short space of time. But I also find a lot of happiness from Stealth (again thankfully) as it reminds me of the first time we visited Thorpe Park & the way I fell in love with Amity & me & Ant and experienced it all together as well.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Irritated – Icon – Blackpool Pleasure Beach:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I often feel quite unsettled by the fact it\u2019s so hit & miss with the way it rides. Some days it\u2019ll be lovely & easily one of my favourite all-time coasters. Yet other times it is meaningless for me as I feel such a lack of a coaster it could have been.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Confused – Shambhala – PortAventura:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Honestly, what is this coaster? Perhaps it\u2019s all down to preference & body type. But this is genuinely borderline monorail with a few added features for me. I found myself feeling nothing from it, a serious lack of everything which I had anticipated to feel & get from a coaster looking like that. I\u2019m optimistic about the fact I just had a bad run but I also ain\u2019t persuaded it\u2019s the case either.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Discomfort – Ice Mountain – Fantasy Island:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s quite funny come to think of it, but back during Halloween in 2019 we fitted 4 fully grown adults in one carriage and it was safe to say a very tight squeeze. The noises coming from us were the amusing part the rest was pure pain.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Comfort – Big Thunder Mountain – DLP:<\/span><\/h3>\n

It just feels like home. Whenever I ride this coaster I feel such an immense sense of warmth deep down, it\u2019s reassuring actually. This was my first rollercoaster as a child, a complete different emotion was felt at the time, but DLP is my happiest place so I guess it all makes sense.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear – Odyssey – Fantasy Island:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Truthfully that first drop is terrifying. If you’re terrified of heights I don\u2019t suggest this coaster for you. The exposure you feel is horrid and the fact you literally can\u2019t see anything other than the floor which you are heading down the drop with tremendous speed. It is nothing except fear for me.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Sadness – Shockwave – Drayton Manor:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hear me out with this one. I often feel a sense of sadness as deep down it\u2019s a coaster I always question how long will it stick around? This coaster has been an enormous milestone for me in becoming an enthusiast but also with me evolving as a person within the theme park side of life & getting over fears. I always recall the sense of pride I felt once hitting the brake run & sometimes reminding myself of that moment helps me to achieve bigger things. Shockwave will always be special to me and I dread the day it departs.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Surprise – Speed – Oakwood:<\/span><\/h3>\n

I wish I could have bottled up the joy, shock & love that dazzled me with this coaster. I had such low expectations and almost dreaded it when it came to riding\u00a0<\/span>Speed that it tarnished any sort of open mind I attempt to approach with. But I was genuinely blown away by how contrasting it ended up being to the image I had created. The layout alone is gorgeous but also the way it rides is something else. I\u2019ll forever be amazed by how good this is!\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n
