The UK has many theme parks up & down the country. They all offer such varied experiences to one another and have their unique rides too. But which is the actual best? <\/span><\/p>\n

Please note this blog is purely established on opinion rather than any facts. What could be my favourite may not be yours! Every UK theme park is fab in its way. <\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

For me, a theme park has to feel like home yet an escape too. The rides and attractions are always great but if I enter the gates & instantly feel all my troubles lifted, the weight of my shoulders freed & a sense of warmth & fulfilment then that\u2019s the best theme park to me. Of course, it has to be Alton Towers. This place makes me feel exactly that way. Don\u2019t get me wrong other parks come near but nothing quite like Towers.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Onto the substantial reasoning for a theme park, the rides! Alton Towers feels pretty much comprehensive in my opinion. By all means, they could do with updating some attractions, adding flat rides & even opening an additional dark ride. But their line-up at the moment is just epic. There\u2019s so much to contend to like where do you start first? You have Nemesis over in the corner which has to be one of the greatest rollercoasters to live on. There\u2019s Thirteen the spookiest yet remarkable family rollercoaster. A world record holder for the number of inversions that\u2019s a crown to be proud of. You can feed the flames over on the UK’s ONLY GCI wooden rollercoaster & the first to build in the UK in over 20 years. Fancy a rivalry with your pals well there\u2019s Duel for that. More enthusiastic about a spooky river ride than The Dungeons are your go-to. Fancy a nice soothing ride on a mine train then head to Runaway Mine Train. It just has it all. So many worlds first were invented in this park, records getting broken & all-round top class rides!\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Offering much more than just a theme park there\u2019s the historic tower ruins, gardens, sea life centre and so many incredible events throughout the year. You really do not need to be a thrill seeker to visit Alton Towers. There are so many more leisure activities to enjoy without touching a ride. The events have been ever-growing since 2020 but they have also done nothing but expand & become better versions of themselves. When an event is on the park does glow and illustrates how incredibly special it is.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of the theme park is another heap of things to explore including their on-site accommodation. For the record, there is such a variety of choices to choose from for all types of budgets too. You then have the amazing waterpark which is worth every penny. Not to dismiss the Extradionary Golf which is nothing but a nerd fest for people like myself.\"\" <\/span><\/p>\n

Alton Towers is the park to be at in my opinion. There is so much to do that if you’re visiting for the first time you\u2019ll need at least two days to explore it all. Every park in the UK is special for its reasons. But my happiest place is Towers!<\/span><\/p>\n
