Something we’ve figured out over the years is how much cheaper it is to stay off park. This hotel is literally around the corner from Chessington World of Adventure so here’s our review from our recent stay.
When I say it’s literally around the corner I’m not joke it’s about 15 minute walk away depending on how fast you walk and literally 2 minute drive. It’s so handy with how close it is to the park. If your visiting the likes of LEGOLAND or Thorpe it’s roughly maximum of an hour away.
We didn’t do the whole breakfast included as it’s quite pricey in my opinion. I believe it was something like an extra £38, which isn’t bad if you’ve got the money and don’t mind splurging. But for us both we aren’t that big of eaters and don’t always have breakfast therefore it would be such a waste. Parking is of course free so if you don’t have a Merlin pass or free parking at Chessington this hotel is even more ideal. We discovered the local Lidl which is where we stocked up on food for the entire of our stay and trips around the place.
Without a doubt there’s cheaper options elsewhere but for me I prefer to pay extra for a Premier Inn and know your getting quality. But our room for 2 nights only cost us £101 which I thought was an absolute bargain to be truthful. If you book via their site you can do the flexi booking which is a little more but you don’t have to pay until the day and free cancellation. Whereas we knew 100% we were heading their and booked the non flexi rate.
I love Premier Inns anyway so our stay was lovely. The rooms are always spacious and has decent sized TVs and beds. Whereas the only issue I find with majority of hotels which have a bath is how small they are really. Other than that the room was clean and the beds comfort was incredible. I’d highly recommend this hotel as it has several benefits to its location and the fact it’s free parking.
Thank you for reading & hope this is somewhat helpful to anyone planning a Chessington trip.
