Today we’re talking all about Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and our opinions. We hope you guys enjoy this blog & we’d love to know your thoughts on this area.
Rollercoasters:
Traditional Blackpool style there’s of course two family wooden coasters within this area. Personally Nickelodeon Streak is one of the smoothest wooden coasters within the park regardless of where you sit. But it’s also a lot of fun & definitely one of those coasters we rank quite highly amongst other wooden coasters.
Blue Flyer however is a junior wooden coaster and would be some great fun for those who aren’t tall enough for the rest of the coasters. It may be small scale wooden coaster yet it’s still quite fun to ride even as an adult.
Ride Selection:
There’s so much to do within this area boat ride themed to Dora’s World Voyage. It’s pretty fab and those younger children will adore it a lot. There’s countless flat rides on offer to experience something for everyone. One of my personal favourites is definitely Backyards Pirate Treasure these type of rides are my guilty pleasures.
It’s also home to some decent water rides as well. The Rugrats log flume is always very surprising just how wet it gets you, especially given how small the drop is. Another one of our favourites is Spongebob Splash Bash. But do prepare to get soaked as this ride is definitely a wet one. Overall there’s 12 rides with different height limits we’ll leave a link here to check the height restrictions.
Theming / Experiences:
Theming is outstanding and the whole area is a standout within the park. There’s so many bright colours which makes it easy on the eyes. Nickelodeon Streak dominates the skyline with its bright orange colour. Each ride is named and themed after different Nickelodeon characters / shows.
As for experiences if your children loves the characters from Nickelodeon there’s a small stage next door to the Pizza & Pasta where you can meet & greet the characters. This is available each and every day for you to meet the characters and have your photos taken.
At the moment the event happening is Summer of SLIME until the 31st August. From the 1st September – 11th October is team nick takeover. The Team Nick Takeover include flash mobs, giveaways and character appearances. During Halloween season there’s the Nick or Treat Halloween happening too. This event involves dressing up and meeting the characters for a chance of trick or treat on with Team Nick.
Overall:
Nickelodeon Land is the one family area which we spend the most time within. There’s so much on offer for all ages and for everyone to embrace. We personally adore the area and can almost guarantee anyone else would too. We’d recommend heading to Pleasure Beach and checking it out especially if you have younger ones.
